Lalo Munoz was born Eulalio Munoz,Jr. to  Eulalio and Delfina in 1955 in Edinburg, Texas. The youngest of four siblings. His older brothers and sister are Miguel Angel Munoz of Clute, Texas, Mario Alberto Munoz of Freeport, Texas and Maria Aida Benitez of Mission, Texas

Lalo attended Mission Public Schools and is a 1973 Graduate of Mission High School. Upon Graduation Lalo enlisted in The US Army where he was a Radio Teletype Operator stationed in Fort Gordon, Georgia and later in Fort Hood, Texas. After the Army Lalo attended Pan American University for about two years but was also busy managing and working at his parent’s Business, “Mission Ice & Grocery” where his parents had worked since about 1955 and in 1972 purchased the business.  His parents continued to own and operate the business through 1985.  There is where Lalo learned the most about small business doing federal quarterly reports, sales reports and eventually the tax return after taking the tax course at H & R Block and eventually doing the books and tax returns for other small businesses and companies.  In 1979, Lalo opened his business at 907 N. Conway Ave., Mission, Texas  where it still is today. Having several business ventures through out the years such as a Gift Shop, A Finance Company , A Western Union Agency and a Café.  The Café was closed after Lalo Sr’s passing since he was the main man in getting all the supplies and delivering all the food in DownTown Mission.  Today his services are totally dedicated to The Income Tax & Notary and Insurance in The Property and Casualty such as Homes, Auto and Commercial Insurance . The Tax & Notary Service was founded in 1978 and the Insurance Agency in 1985,  Lalo’s wife Letty is his assistant in managing the office and the insurance agency.

Lalo has been playing music since his high school days at talent shows and where he played with a group his Junior and Senior years in High School. Lalo still plays music and is the joy and passion of his life,  Doing it professionally for more than 28 years playing at weddings, social gatherings, Clubs and Restaurants once and while and still directs the Spanish Choir at St Paul’s Catholic Church in Mission, Texas for the last 22 years. He played at Holy Rosary for about eight years before that.

Lalo has been married to Letty for the last 15 years and has been the Wind Beneath His Wings.  Lalo is the Proud Father of  Erika Lee, Eriza Omelee, Eduardo and Celeste Juanita, has one Step Daughter Lizzie,  and the Proud Grandfather of Victoria, Erik and Brandon, and the latest addition to the family on 11-03-2008, Grand Daughter "Klariza Omelee Torres".
